Yes, and inflatable kayak, it’s an idea that’s so cool, you’d wonder why no one has thought of this before…you can pack it in your trunk and one person can get it down to the water because it’s so light, even when it’s fully inflated.
The Coleman Inflatable Kayak is perfect for canoeing, fishing, or just a lazy paddle around the lake. It can withstand bumps into rocks, sticks, mud, and anything else that may be lurking in shallow waters. The kayak is made from tough and durable PVC…actually, there are a couple different Coleman Inflatable Kayaks, a one-person kayak and a two-person kayak, so you can choose to paddle around and take in the scenery on your own, or with a friend.
The Coleman Inflatable Kayak is great for anyone who love s the outdoors. It can be stowed in the trunk, making it easy to bring along on camping trips, adventure trips on streams and rivers. It’s very satisfying when you can just pack and go whenever you feel like going on the rafting adventures minus the difficulty of hauling up that hard shell kayak on your car, not to mention carrying all that weight down to the river. With the Coleman Inflatable Kayak, you just pull it out of the car, inflate it and carry it down to the water. Since it’s full of air, anyone can carry it around, but if you’re going through the woods before you get to the water, I would suggest 2 people carry it to make sure it doesn’t hit any sharp rocks or sticks.
The two-person kayak is 132 inches by 30 inches when it’s fully inflated, it’s made of 26 gauge PVC, and can take on 595 pounds, easily carrying two full sized adults, plus some cargo. When you need to take a break, or when you’re getting out of the water for a bit, no need to worry about losing the paddles…the Coleman Inflatable Kayak has paddle locks on either side of the kayak. When it comes to cargo, there are to storage compartments, one for each person.
Surprisingly it can handle the bumps and collisions with rocks and submerged branches of trees. These kayaks are very lightweight and compared to the regular ones, there’s no mess and fuss when you try to load it to your trunk. The seats offer great support when you go in the water with deep V entrance s that helps you control speed and makes paddling easy . Speaking of paddles, they ARE included. If you purchase the one-person kayak then of course you get a paddle , and the same goes for the 2 seat, you get 2 pa ddles.
When it was first released online, I saw the Coleman Inflatable Kayak for about $300, but now the price has come down, by about half…the one-person kayak is only $79, and the two-person kayak is now $139. It is a hot seller, so you can check out your local store (like a Walmart or something) but if they’re out of stock like I found out, you can grab one online. I would also suggest getting the Coleman QuickPump because nobody wants to inflate that with a bicycle pump, the QuickPump is, well, quick…and I would also recommend being safe and getting lifejackets…Coleman offers these as well.
