garmin heart rate monitor strap battery
With a Garmin 305 Forerunner, is the heart rate monitor chest strap battery replaceable?
I know the wrist monitor is rechargeable, but was wondering about the heart rate chest strap. Is the battery in it replaceable or do you have to send it off for replacement as the many chest straps I have owned in the past only last between 1 1/2 to 2 years. Also, when you download your info on the site does your running course with street names automatically load?
Go to a jeweler to replace your battery on the chest strap, mine lasted just over 2 years so thats probably about right. When you download your running course it will state the streets if you choose the right options (google earth option as well) You have a choice of how you want to view your maps.
